Mission Statement:

You may not be familiar with The American Rescue Workers. Or, you may know us as a social service organization, and we are. But, we are so much more. We are incorporated as a denominational, evangelical Christian Church, committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

When we look around, it is easy to see that there are many problems and hurts in our world, and they seem to get worse every day. Many have lost their way and need moral and spiritual direction. Some are in the grip of compulsive behaviors and circumstances beyond their control. They need deliverance in order to regain control, balance and freedom to their lives. We believe that is why God sent His Son, Jesus Christ into this world. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Many individuals come to our doors daily with diversified needs. Most often their position is a result of personal choices they have made in the past. We need to help them with whatever problem they may have with the best resources that are available. But, we also believe we need to point them to a better way, and that way is Jesus. Jesus said in John 16, v.33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." We believe because HE has OVERCOME the world, we can be Overcomers through HIM. This is the message we give.
