AMERICAN RESCUE WORKERS
PAUL E. MARTIN(Ret.)SCHOLARSHIP

American Rescue Workers, a non-sectarian Religious Charitable Organization and a branch of The Christian Church, has established the Paul E. Martin Scholarship in honor of our former Commander-In-Chief, General Paul E. Martin. Ret)

Following the call of God upon his heart, Paul E. Martin has dedicated his entire life to the diversified ministries of the American Rescue Workers. Observing the decay of sin that takes place in ones body and spirit, he has spent his years spreading the life-changing Gospel and reaching out to the least, the lost and the lonely. Whether the individual was needy spiritually, physically, mentally or materially, his desire was to fulfill the Great Commission that Jesus gave the disciples in Matthew Chapters 25 and 28.

His concern for the on-going work of the organization on a National level, is that the youth of our churches realize the call of God for service, to reach the individuals that slip through the grasp of our established evangelical churches. His aim is to recruit young people for service, as they discover and fulfill God's will in their lives.

The awarding of the Paul E. Martin Scholarship aims to create this interest. Through this scholarship, American Rescue Workers seeks to help young people prepare to answer God's call to this type of unique home missions ministry.

We anticipate granting up to $2,000 per year, awarded at our discretion. American Rescue Workers reserves the right to make the final decision in conferring the scholarship funds.
